The face planes and interior planes for red, blue and green are what I call the orthogonal planes of the color cube.
Each plane (or layer) is a single level of a single color (red, blue or green) while the rows and columns are varying levels of the other two colors.
The red planes are pictured on the left, the blue planes are in the middle and the green planes are on the right.
Every color goes in sequence from hexadecimal level 38 to 68 to 98 to c8 to f8.
