About Images

I like images.

Years ago, I spent many hours in a black & white darkroom, meticulously developing film and printing pictures. I even taught classes. Now the darkroom is my computer and I don't have to mix chemicals or buy and refrigerate film. Thank you, technology.

I don't take that many pictures anymore but I still like arranging pictures, mine and others. Because I teach mathematics, I get to create playful and mathematically oriented creations that I call MathArt. Click the links above to see some examples.

Making simple graphics like the ones on this page is fun also. And I can make the images interactive in ways that were impossible with traditional photography.
